Trina Selling 10.6-Megawatt U.K. Solar Plant to Foresight Group

Oct. 10 (Bloomberg) — Trina Solar Ltd., China’s largest
profitable panel manufacturer, agreed to sell a 10.6-megawatt
power plant in the U.K. to funds managed by Foresight Group LLP.

Trina expects to recognize revenue from the sale this
quarter, the Changzhou-based company said today in a statement.
Terms weren’t disclosed.

The solar farm in Trehawke is one of two Trina plants
connected to the U.K. grid in the first quarter. The company is
building another 49.9 megawatts of solar projects in the U.K.
that it expects to complete in the first quarter of 2015.
