United Photovoltaics to Acquire 210 MW of Solar-Power Plants

(Bloomberg) — United Photovoltaics Group Ltd. will acquire
Zhongneng Guodian New Energy Cooperation and Development Jiangsu
Co., an owner of solar-power projects, for 105 million yuan
($16.9 million).

Through the acquisition, United PV will own five solar
projects with a total capacity of 210 megawatts, the company
said in a statement Monday.

The plants are located in Inner Mongolia and Zhejiang
Province, ranging between 30 megawatts and 60 megawatts in
capacity each, United PV said.
