(Bloomberg) — Vestas Wind Systems A/S, the world’s largest
turbine maker, agreed to supply equipment with 33 megawatts of
capacity to Smart-energy Betriebs GmbH for a project in Austria.
Delivery of the 10 3.3-megawatt turbines will begin in the
fourth quarter for use in the Hohenruppersdorf II project, the
Aarhus, Denmark-based manufacturer said Monday in a statement on
its website. The sale includes a 20-year service agreement.
Terms weren’t disclosed.
Hohenruppersdorf II is expected to begin generating power
in the second quarter of next year.
