(Bloomberg) — Vestas Wind Systems A/S, the world’s largest
turbine maker, agreed to supply equipment with about 83
megawatts of capacity to a project in Poland.
Vestas will begin delivering and installing the 25 3.3-megawatt turbines in the fourth quarter, the Aarhus, Denmark-based manufacturer said in a statement on its website Monday.
The sale includes a 15-year service agreement. Terms weren’t
disclosed.
The order from Wind Field Korytnica Sp. for its Korytnica
North project is the third for Vestas this year in Poland, where
the turbine maker has a market share of about 30 percent and has
installed almost 1.3 gigawatts of capacity, according to the
statement.
