Vestas Wins Turbine Order From EDF for Polish Wind Farm

Sept. 2 (Bloomberg) — Vestas Wind Systems A/S won an order
from EDF Energies Nouvelles SA to supply turbines to a wind farm
in Poland.

The order is for 29 turbines of 2 megawatts each, Aarhus,
Denmark-based Vestas said in a statement on its website.

Delivery is expected to start in the first quarter, with
commissioning finished toward the end of next year. The plant
will be one of the largest in northwest Poland, it said.
