Where Energy, Technology and Transport Converge

The BNEF Summit San Francisco 2027 will explore how the US can power its next wave of economic and technological growth as AI, data centers, advanced manufacturing and electrification drive electricity demand higher.

The agenda follows the investment and infrastructure challenge across the value chain: where new power will come from, how it will be financed, whether grids and equipment supply chains can keep pace, and which technologies – from storage and advanced nuclear to geothermal – can scale fast enough to meet demand.

With a distinctly West Coast lens, we’ll also examine how advances in AI, chips and compute could reshape future energy needs, while tackling issues particularly relevant to California including power affordability, extreme weather, grid resilience and transport electrification.

At its heart, the Summit asks whether America can translate its strengths in technology, innovation and capital into the speed and scale of deployment needed to build a reliable, affordable and globally competitive power system.
